Project 365 #10 and #11

I didn’t manage to do my week last week, it’s been a bit full on here. So this post includes my last two weeks.

1. Mothers Day. 2. Pizza Hut with my big boy. 3. Nando’s with James and Ava. 4. My gorgeous flip flops.

Sunday is Mother’s Day. I spend a lovely day with the boys. I have a lie in, dinner cooked for me and generally looked after.

Monday I spend some rare one on one time with Kyle. We go to pizza hut for a treat for getting a Head Teachers award.

Tuesday is our last day with James before he goes away for just over a week. We go for lunch to Nando’s and spend a really nice day together.

Wednesday I take James to the train station so he can get to Gatwick for his flight to America. I go shopping at a big Primark with Ava and get loads of Summer clothes for her and the boys and some gorgeous flip flops for me. I can’t wait to wear them.

1. Ava enjoying her food. 2. Kyle sleeping in his hat from James. 3. Mummy and baby selfie. 4. Finlay on the go-kart.

Thursday we spend at home. Ava is loving her food, she is especially enjoying carrot and sweet potato in this picture. Kyle has a friend over after school and falls asleep with a hat on his head that James has given him, think he is missing him already.

Friday is a good day. I meet friends at a play area and get to have cuddles with my friends new baby girl. Cont…

1&2 Ava enjoying her 1st swing. 3. Smiley girl. 4. Finlay on the slide.

When we get back after lunch it’s such a warm beautiful day that we go to the park. It’s the first time Ava goes in a swing, she quite likes it.

1&2 cuddles with Nana and Grandad. 3. Glass of wine and a sleeping baby.

Saturday is a weird day as the boys are at their Dads for the weekend so it’s just me and Ava. I meet up with my Mum and Dad for a drink in a beautiful Country pub and finish the day with a glass of wine and a curry.

1. First time in the garden. 2. Bathtime. 3. Enjoying her Bumbo tray. 4. Waiting to see the Paediatrician.

Sunday is another beautiful day. Ava goes in the garden for the first time and watches me hang up the washing. I meet a friend for a drink in the village pub garden and then collect Finlay from his Dads. Kyle is watching a rugby match so it’s just the two little ones to bath and get to bed before he gets back.

Monday I meet a friend for a coffee/coke in the morning and pick up a Bumbo tray which Ava approves of. We have an appointment at the hospital later on with the allergy specialist paediatrician. He thinks she is Ige reacting to the things she is allergic too, so we will be getting blood and skin prick tests done around her first Birthday.

1&2 sleeping beauty. 3. My two littlest babies. 4. My super bunny bouncer.

Tuesday I start to feel more ill. Ive had a cold for a few days but it starts to bother me today. We go to an Easter service at the village Church with Kyle’s School. I then manage to lock us out of the house on the way to pick Kyle up after his pottery club. I only have my wallet and a packet of wipes on me. No bag, no phone! After sheltering in the village pub, village shop, borrowing phones, a leaked nappy and a 4 year old having a toilet accident we finally get back in the house an hour and a half later.

Wednesday I take Ava to her swimming lesson and my Mum and Dad help out and take the boys to theirs after School. We have had a plumber in on and off for the last couple of weeks and he is in and out the house all day today. Finlay and Kyle have a bunny bounce at School. Finlay is the record holder with 194 jumps in 2 minutes, he even does more than his big brother!

1. Sleeping madam. 2. Proud of his creations. 3. Making a mess. 4. Candles and wine.

Friday I take Finlay to play at a local Gymnastics centre, he loves it. Ava has a little bounce on the trampoline. She screams the whole way there and the whole way back in the car. As soon as I pick her up she falls asleep. Little madam! Kyle has been baking at School and is really proud of his creations.

Saturday I’m still feeling really rubbish and have spent a lot of the night awake with a cough. We spend the day at home playing board games and playing. In the evening we cook a nice dinner and light the candles, have a glass of wine and a cuddle.

1. The boys making pizza out of playdough 2. A sleepy Ava 3. Finlay and Ava playing together 4. Kyle and his smart haircut

We still have all the boys together on Sunday and manage to get some quiet time by getting the playdough out. I cook a lovely roast dinner and we spend the rest of the day at home playing and making a mess.

I spend Monday morning having sleepy cuddles with Ava before picking Finlay up at lunchtime. I take him for his first eye test which he passes with flying colours. As a treat we go to a little cafe and by chance his best friend is in there which he thinks is great.

MummyandMonkeys

1. Ava and I meeting friends for breakfast. 2. My friends and Ava. 3. Ava and I watching the boys swimming lessons. 4. Cheeky grin.

I meet friends for breakfast on Wednesday as it’s one of theirs birthday. Then it’s off to Ava’s swimming. She’s really starting to take notice now and kicks and holds onto the side. It’s the boys turn for their swimming lessons after School. Ava and I watch and I’m so pleased with how they are both doing. The change in Finlay is huge.

I go for my first run in a long time on Thursday. It wasn’t that bad, but my hips really ached for the next few days so I think I need to do some strengthening exercises first. We go to the park with some friends after School and Ethan is back when we get home. I spend the evening writing an application letter and filling out a pack to apply for the job at the School I went to look at. It’s for a SENCO post and although I have experience I’m still scared of applying.

9. Ava and a sleepy Ava. 10. Beautiful in her beautiful babygrow. 11. Ava enjoying her new bath. 12. In her jumperoo for the first time.

I rush to get my application in before the deadline on Friday lunchtime and just make it. My Mum and Dad have Finlay for the afternoon as he is desperate to see them. I get to go and meet my friend who also has a baby, a little boy a few weeks younger than Ava. It’s just me, James and Ava this weekend so once she is bathed and in bed we cook a curry and open a bottle of wine.

Saturday morning we get the jumperoo down from the loft for Ava, she’s not too sure. Then we go for a walk in the beautiful sunshine. It’s nice to be outside and it not be really cold. It’s another quiet evening for us cooking a nice pasta meal and watching a film.

1. Ava having cuddles and a feed. 2. Polkadots and flower print 3. Too cute in her dungaree dress. 4. Sleeping in the sling after the School run.

Sunday is a quiet day at home with James and Ava. We have a cooked breakfast and cuddle on the sofa watching episodes of Suits and. I’ve really missed the boys this weekend so it’s nice to pick them up.

Back to School on Monday. James leaves early for work so it’s just me getting everyone and everything ready for the first day back. I take Finlay to McDonalds as a treat for lunch after pre school. Kyle has a club after School on a Monday so we have a longer afternoon before having to rush to School pick up.

I get Ava weighed Tuesday she is now 14lb exactly and following her line just above the 25th centile. I’ve moved the boys swimming day from today to a Wednesday as Kyle is doing a few weeks of pottery after school.

5. All ready for swimming. 6. Kyle playing with his baby sister. 7. Dairy free brownie and strawberries, yum. 8. Nothing on but a headband and a beautiful smile.I

‘ve moved Ava’s swimming lessons to a different pool and so Wednesday is her first one there. I’m not sure how cold it’s going to be as we were going to a hydrotherapy pool. She seems fine in her wetsuit though. I have to go to the doctors about the rash on one leg and lump on the other from her injections last week. She will have to have her next lot under obs in-case she reacts even worse.

Thursday is a quiet day after rushing about all week. It’s nice to spend some time at home with Ava and then the boys after School. We read and play games and I bake some brownies.

Project 365

9. Vanilla almond milk latte and hobnobs. 10. Love her tutu. 11. Rolling over for the first time.

I meet with some of Finlay’s friends and the Mums on Friday morning at a play area. Finlay is full of cold and grumpy all afternoon. Kyle has football after school and we watch a movie together before they go to bed. I cook a delicious risotto for James and I and we have a nice glass of wine.

Ava decides to roll over for the first time on Saturday. She’s not too sure about it! Ethan is here this weekend so the house is full of boys and noise. James takes them all off to the driving range for a bit and I get some peace with Ava. Once the boys are in bed we spend the evening watching Banshee. If you haven’t watched it, I recommend it.

Project 365 #7

imageIt’s open day at the gym James goes to on Sunday so we all go for a swim. My Mum and Dad meet us there and the boys are so excited to be able to swim with Ava. I’ve got her a baby snug wetsuit and she didn’t seem to get cold. After the swim the boys have dinner in the cafe and we manage to get a rare photo of us all.

I decide to take the boys to the Space Centre on Monday. They love it. It’s really busy so we will definitely go back later in the year as we didn’t get round it all. Ava screams the whole way home in the car. I’m surprised that she has any voice left by the end!

imageI’m absolutely loving the sun on Tuesday. Its a beautiful day. We go to one of my favourite places, Stanwick lakes and meet friends. Its so nice to be able to catch up and let the kids play together. I have to take Finlay to see the asthma nurse at the Doctors as he still has his cough. He gets a brown inhalor to take morning and night and we have to go back in a couple of weeks if it’s still no better.

Wednesday is another beautiful day. I have to take Ava for her injections first thing. The nurse is lovely and she doesn’t cry quite as much as last time. We attempt to go to a Frozen event, queue for ages to get anywhere near only to be told it’s been closed. So we head back to another country park, Irchester this time. The boys go to my Mum and Dads for a sleep over and I take a grumpy Ava home.

image

We spend the day at home Thursday as we had a bad night with Ava being sick and having a temperature. She really isn’t very well and spends the day being sick, cryng and sleeping. We can’t even get the Calpol to stay down Luckily the boys are having a nice day with my Mum and Dad and go to the cinema.

Friday James picks up his little boy and they all play together in the garden. Still loving the sunny weather. Later we go swimming. Ava is better than she has been but we decide to not take her in the pool so I get to sit in the cafe with her and have a bit of girly time. After swimming the boys go off to their Dads for the weekend.

I get a present on Saturday. A beautiful white Chromebook, which I am using now, thanks James! I get to go for lunch with my old School friends. They haven’t met Ava yet and it was lovely to see them. I decide to treat James to a takeout as a thanks for my present and we watch a film.

Project 365 #6 The week that was captured

Sunday is spent at home. The boys watch a film and have pizza. Then we have fun with the Weekend Box Club.

On Monday morning I go to the doctors with Ava as she is still having blood in her poo. The doctor is pretty useless. In the afternoon we visit my Mum and Dad and Finlay the budding photographer takes this picture of us all.

Tuesday is a snow day! The boys pre school and School is open and they have such a fun walk there. Me and Ava spend a few hours with Daddy :)

Wednesday we see the dietician about Ava. I’ve to cut out soya now along with the dairy.

Ava is really snotty today so we decide to not take her swimming. We have all 3 boys after School Thursday and keep them entertained with a big box that they turn into a bus.

Kyle has a hearing test on Friday which is borderline normal, meaning we have to go back in 3 months. By the evening it’s just me James and Ava for the weekend.

Saturday morning is very quiet in the house. It’s been ages since we have had a weekend without any of the boys. We take a little trip to Ikea and Ava coo’s the while way around. It’s a friends 40th and I manage to go to the local pub for a couple of hours. I have to clean sick off my dress before I go and although I can’t really relax as I know that Ava has woken up (she’s back asleep by the time I get back) it was really nice to have a couple of hours off (ish).
