Living Arrows #8

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows, are sent forthโ€™”

Kahlil Gibran

We spent the hottest day of the year (so far) at my Mum and Dads in their garden. We got the paddling pools out and had water fights, it was a pretty good day. Ava wasn’t too happy in the heat so the cool water definitely helped. The boys just loved any excuse to have a water fight. It turned in to my Dad with the hose on them, think he was cheating a bit. Ava spent ages figuring out how to tip the water out of the watering can and then ran off around the garden naked when I took her UV suit off to take her back inside.

  22. Ah, I can’t wait until our little boy is old enough to play in a paddling pool & play in the garden. I hope the little ones weren’t too uncomfortable during the night – we had a rough ride but he’s only a few weeks so it’s to be expected!
