How nice was it to feel the sun on your face yesterday? I must have looked crazy because every time I stepped outside, from the gym and even Tesco’s, I had a real urge to just stare up into the sky and feel the warmth it was such a good feeling!
The boys went back to school this week and so it has been just Ava and I. James was away for a couple of days, came home for a couple and then went early Friday and he’s going to be away for ten nights. So wish me luck! Ava is back to Pre School tomorrow and I feel guilty for looking forward to it, but it’s been such a struggle to get any work done for the last three weeks. I’m already panicking about the summer holidays!
I’ve made a start on Happy after seeing some recommendations on Instagram. I’m only a couple of chapters in so far, but I like that you have space and time throughout to digest what you are reading and to put things into practice for your own life.
I’m on season 3 now of Unreal. It’s a programme that I really want to know what happens, but some of the episodes make for uncomfortable viewing. I’m enjoying the more feminist aspect to this series and like how they are approaching old stereotypes and successful women in it. Definitely one to watch if you haven’t already.

A decision to eat more healthily. I usually do, but habits have been slipping and with not being able to get to the gym so much, or even have time to exercise from home with 3 weeks of them being off for Easter and with Ava being so ill, I’ve been left feeling really sluggish and not really at my best. My clothes are feeling a little tight and I just generally am feeling a bit yuck. So instead of moping about it which I did for a few days, the last couple of days I’ve made sure I am eating and drinking better and have done something active every day. I’m sure with the weather improving that will help too.
The outfit in my first picture.
I’ve got an exciting couple of weeks coming up. I’m off to The Retreat this coming weekend which I am really looking forward to. Then the following weekend I’m going on a press trip to Portugal, on my own, which is something I have never done before. So I’m excited and nervous in equal measures.
