It’s been two years since my life changed for the better. Two years of happiness. Two years of laughter and amazing memories. It feels like it has been so much longer with everything that has happened. Two years ago today I met you, the man that I love. I knew straight away that it was more and by our second date I knew that it was love. It terrified me and excited me all at the same time. Never before have I felt like I do with you. It meant I had to take a risk and so did you, the risk of getting hurt again. I’m so glad we took that risk. I’m happy, I’m in love, my boys are happy and we have a beautiful baby girl. Life is good!
Walking around a Country Park in a beautiful place, somewhere that you introduced me to. With our baby girl asleep on me in the sling, in the sunshine, I was thinking about the last 2 years. All that has happened and all that we have to look forward to in the future. Wondering what the next two years has in store for us. So James here are some of the many reasons why I love you;
- How you make me feel when I am with you.
- Your eyes and how you can’t hide how you are feeling.
- Your intelligence.
- How I know you will always be there when I need you to be.
- What an amazing Daddy you are.
- That when I look at you, you still give me butterflies.
- How you make me feel better when times are tough.
- That you make me feel wanted and secure.
- How I miss you the second you leave, and sometimes even before.
- Your morals.
- That when your arms are around me, everything is right in the World.
- How you are there for my boys when they need you to be.
- When I catch you looking at me and I can see in your eyes that you love me.
- Your ambition, I’m so proud of what you have achieved.
- How you can fix anything technological and my car.
- How much you love our daughter, she is so lucky.
- That you care how my day has been and listen to me.
- The way you help me put things into perspective.
- How I now know what it’s like to be treated properly and that our daughter will grow up seeing this.
There are so many more and the main reason is I love you, because I love you . Thank you for making me a better me!

I love this post!! So sweet and also amazing you found the person to make you happy after everything. I’ve been with Si for almost 5 years now, and he’s like a Dad to my boys, and he’s definitely the ‘one’, I didn’t realise how unhappy I’d been until I felt how happy I was/am with him. Eek soppy I know!
