On Trend Ankle Boots to make your feet happy with Brantano

October 7, 2015

This morning I got wet feet on the School run. I’ve been holding on to wearing my flip-flops for as long as possible and we  have been lucky with the weather here recently so it hasn’t been a problem. However this morning although still warm it is wet. I didn’t even think and just grabbed my flip-flops in the normal morning chaos. Resulting in some pretty wet, soggy, cold feet which has done nothing but make me grumpier.

I’m now sitting with a coffee browsing the new Autumn Winter trends to make my feet happier. I love ankle boots for the winter almost as much as I love flip-flops for the summer so I’ve come up with a wishlist for my feet.

Ankle boots to make your feet happy with Brantano

T-B, L-R

1. Emilio Luca X Kensington Ankle Boot. £38

These boots look comfy and would go with most outfits. I like the straps and buckles over the contrasting elasticated panel and the heel isn’t too high to be comfortable to wear during the day.

  1. Emilio Luca X Red Snake Ankle Boots £38

Burnt red is in all the shops this Autumn and I have already picked up a few items in this colour. These boots would dress up jeans and a plain top or go with some of my winter dresses.

  1. Lotos Yuko Ankle Boots £50

I’m still a rock chick at heart and love the studded detail on these boots. The nay colour is on trend for this season and with the heel would look great with ripped jeans.

  1. Clarks Orinoco Club E Fit Ankle Boots £55

You can’t go wrong with some Chelsea Boots in your wardrobe. The burgandy colour of these is fab for this season. I always struggle to find Chelsea Boots to fit my skinny feet so and E width fitting is perfect for me.

All of these boots are available at

Which boots are your favourite?

Ohh they are nice! I live in my boots all through the autumn & winter….

  2. Oooooh I love the Kensignton pair and the Clarks ones. They look so comfy and perfect for plodding about with the pushchair and lunching and coffee-ing as mums do 🙂

I still have ankle boots from a couple of years ago. I hardly wore them when my husband bought them for me because I was pregnant and found it hard to do up the buckles! They’re super comfy and warm. They’re my first ankle boots (if you don’t include traditional DMs) and I think I’m a convert!

I find shopping for boots SO hard – my legs/feet just arent made for boots I don’t think. Though I’ve never looked in Brantano, so will do next time I pass 🙂 #picknmix

  6. The weather has suddenly changed hasn’t it? It has been very chilly here the last few mornings. Love your choices, it’s time to put your flip flops away!

  7. I love those red ones! I’d have to go with the Chelsea boots though as I can’t walk in heels anymore after living in Converse for so long!

  8. Jenny says:

I love boots, the blue ones are my favourite. Thanks for the inspiration! #picknmix

  9. Jen says:

I love the blue and red ones! I must admit that ankle boots are one trend that I have always wanted to get in on. I even bought a couple pairs. However, I wore them once. Maybe it’s time to check out a few new types #PickNMix

  10. All four are gorgeous, but I adore the one on the top right! It’s fun to get new boots for the autumn & winter! Thanks so much for hosting #picknmix x

I love the red ones, they are perfect for Autumn. I grumpily dragged my boots back out this week! PicknMix xx

  14. Lovely boots! i had some very similar to the last pair, from Clarkes, two years ago and I’ve worn them to the ground, literally! They are so comfy and really last. I think another pair will definitely be on order very soon. (*sobs as she says goodbye to her barely-worn sandals…)

  15. Sarah says:

I love boots. I think the Kensington ankle boot would be my fave. I have just discovered a hole in the toe of my ugg boots (which I have been wearing for the school run) I also have a pair of cowboy boots but I’m after some wedge heeled tassled ankle boots. I’ve seen some on eBay but as usual have no spare money ;-( Sarah. #Picknmix

  16. KRYSTLE COOK says:

I love boot season! I am partial to longer boots but these ankle ones are cute too!!

  17. Talya says:

  18. Catie says:

I like the plum coloured ones but I know my dodgy knee wouldn’t. I am struggling to find some relatively flat but still feminine but not mumsy. Quite a challenge! #picknmix

  19. There's always Time for tea says:

I need some new boots – last years got a bit wet and manky! These ones are really nice looking xx

  20. Some fab picks here, I haven’t thought of brantano for pretty boots so will have a look, I desperately need a new pair. Last year’s ankle boots were bought out of desperation for something more solid than canvas plimsoles and look a bit of a state!

  21. Ooh I love some ankle boot candy. They’re all lovely although I bet the last pair would be everyday favourites. Can’t go wrong with flats on the school run. X MMT # picknmix

  22. Tracey Abrahams says:

I love wearing ankle boots in winter, ive found I cant get longer boots to fit my fat legs. I would probably go for the first pair, a sensible heel (i sound like my nan)and some cute buckles. #picknmix

  23. Think I’d go for the Clarks Orinoco, have to be flat for me on the school run as we have a fair old walk and we love having a mess around in the leaves and things on the way x #picnmix

  24. I have desperately been hanging on to my flip flops but it’s just a bit too cold now. Funnily enough I have ordered a new pair of boots this week and they were Clarks ones and my favourite on your list is the Clarks ones too #picknmix

  25. I too am currently looking for a new pair of ankle boots, although I seriously don’t need any more shoes, but hey ho! I love the clarks ones they are lush! I always find difficulty in choosing just one pair! I’ll miss the flip flops but I do like getting my boots on again! X

  26. The red snakeskin ones, they are gorgeous. I live in flip flops too and then go straight intro boots. Lovely choices and thank you for hosting xx

  27. Becster says:

I LOVE ankle boots!! I especially love the blue ones with the stud details! Definitely the sort of boots I’d wear! 🙂 #PickNMix

  28. Chloe says:

Oh my gosh I adore the first ones! They’re so cute and would go so well with skinny jeans.

    MUST. GO. SHOE. SHOPPING. NOW!!!!!!

I’ve never thought of going to Brantano for shoes. No idea why, but I’m off for a browse now. xx
