I can remember when baby no.1 came along and I tried in vain to carry on using my nice handbags, squeezing everything in and soon found out it’s pretty impossible. When no.2 was cooking I knew I would need a nice changing bag to see me through until I could start using normal handbags again. Then with no.3 I discovered something amazing, why I hadn’t realised it before I don’t know. It’s a bit like the vest trick, if you don’t know what I’m on about with the vest trick just ask as that’s pretty life changing too. I realised that if you get a nice changing bag, you can also fit in a clutch bag or small handbag with your essentials in. Not only does this mean you can still use fashionable bags, but you don’t spend ages looking for your phone or purse in the bottomless pit that is a nappy changing bag.
I’m of the opinion that you can never have too many bags, it’s a bit like shoes, you need different ones for different occasions and well sometimes just because. I used to buy handbags often, not always expensive ones, just ones that I liked asbag shopping along with flipflop shopping always makes me happy. I’ve been having a little look at and created my SS16 handbag wishlist, all are £50 or under and available at House of Fraser.

House of Fraser sent me the Dune Becky Small Flapover Bag in Yellow (4) and its perfect for my current yellow obsession (just look at my Instagram). I’m going on a date night this week and plan on using it then. What do you think, beautiful isn’t it?
I would love to know which bag is your favourite from the selection?
Disclosure: I was sent a handbag by House of Fraser to include in this post, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
