Help Save the Children with the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Range

Giving back at Christmas isn’t always easy as money can be tight and we all feel the pressure to make it the perfect Christmas for our children and families. When I heard that Fisher-Price is this year teaming up with Save the Children I was keen to be involved and help to spread the word of a way you can easily give back this Christmas.

Fisher-Price is teaming up with Save the Children to help change the lives of the most disadvantaged children in the UK with a new partnership that aims to give every child the chance to play and learn. From 2nd November to 24th December 2016 £1 from the sale of 16 different toys from the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn range, sold at Argos, will be donated to Save the Children.

Save the Children will provide child development grants and vital household items such as beds, cookers, books and toys to help the UK’s poorest children grow, learn and play. These grants give families the opportunity to create a positive home environment, reducing the family stress associated with poverty and helping ensure children can learn and develop healthily. It’s a vital part of our work to give every child the best start in life.

The money raised will help to provide some of the poorest families in the UK vital household items such as beds, cookers, books and toys to help children grow, learn and play. This will help give families the opportunity to create a positive home environment, reducing the family stress associated with poverty and helping ensure children can develop healthily.

We were sent the Puppy’s ABC learning centre from the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn range. A colourful, interactive play panel built to grow with your toddler. Ava is just two and so is on the first stage, learn, which introduces your toddler to letters, shapes, colours, animals, objects and more. There are two further levels, 2 – engage and 3 – imagine, meaning it is an educational toy that will last for years.

Ava loves pressing all the buttons, moving the hands on the clock and trying to say the words of the pictures as they light up. She also enjoys pressing the puppy button as it plays songs she likes to dance to. Both the boys 6 and 9 enjoyed exploring it too and I’ve found the 6 year old using it a few times on his own. I was impressed with

Head to Argos and you will see the toys included from the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn range in the Save the Children campaign, they are marked with the Save the Children symbol.
