I’ve always wondered how the UK compares to other countries around the World when it comes to things like maternity leave and sick pay. If you live in the US, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Brazil or South Africa, what is the minimum wage, is there even a minimum wage? How many days holiday could you expect and what are the average working hours?
After looking at the below infographic by GoToMeeting the UK doesn’t look too bad. Although more days holiday would be great. I’m liking Sweden’s trial of a 6 hour day too, that would be amazing. I’m pretty shocked by the US results.
