Top 10 Christmas toys for 5 year old boys

Here are my top 10 Christmas toys for 5 year old boys. Some of these I know my 5 year old boy loves and the others are on his wishlist. Make sure you check out the Christmas Toy Tracker for comparable prices.

My 5 year old is relatively easy to buy for in comparison to his 8 year old brother. He is still very much in to Superheroes, roleplay and crafts so this list reflects that. We were sent a couple of boxes of Sands Alive to review (full review and competition coming later today) and he played with it for well over an hour and then got it out again the next day. It’s great fun and relatively mess free. We were also lucky enough to be sent a SwimFin to review and Finlay loves it. You can read a full review of SwimFin and shark Finlay and also enter a competition to win one.

p style=”text-align: left;”>Finlay got a Furby Boom for his Birthday and he loves it. There is an App that you can download to make it more interactive but we haven’t done that yet. He also got a set of the new Playdoh Can-heads which he really likes. Julia Donaldson books are some of his favourites so I’ve included those as I always get books at Christmas. The Chill Factor slush maker is something that he has been asking for when it comes on the adverts for ages so he would be very excited to receive one of these. The Bumblebee Transformer figure would be great to add to his collection and I’m sure he would put the costume on straight away. Finlay still loves to play in the bath and I think he would have great fun with the light, party show. Finally I added in the BlowPens. Kyle had a set of these around the same age and it’s something that I also think Finlay would enjoy, they come with lots of stencils and you can create some great pictures with them.
