I love books and my children love books, it’s something that I have been really keen to nurture with them. When I came across Love2Read I really liked the idea. Love2Read offer you the chance to create a unique, personal photo book based around your child’s family and experiences. The books also focus on high frequency words that help children learn at School. Caroline the creator of Love2Read is a Mum and a Teacher (the same as me) who initially developed the idea at home to help her own children learn to read. Research shows that if your child loves books they will learn to read much faster and you will be encouraging a lifelong love of reading.

Win a personalised love2read book

To create your own personalised book for your child head to Love2Read there are lots of different options for you to choose from, some of the many are Memories, Christmas, My Daddy, My First Year and My Holiday. I created an I love book for Finlay who has just started School. I was able to easily add photos, change the text and even change the border colour. Finlay was really impressed with his book and loved all the pictures. It has been well used with him even taking it in to School to show. Ava (13 months) also likes looking at the pictures in it.

There is a video on the Love2Read webpage that shows you how to make the books.

Initially the price of the book at £14.99 looks expensive, however these are books that your child will keep as they are also memories. The more books you buy the cheaper they are which is another option.

The Love2Read books would make a great unique Christmas present for any child.
