Mum’s List – The new Rafe Spall and Emelia Fox Film

*Collaborative post

Mum’s List is a out in UK cinemas tomorrow, 25th November and it’s a film I’ve been keen to see, although I think I will definitely need the tissues ready. Mum’s List is a beautiful and heartwarming film that tells the real life story of Singe and Kate, a couple from North Somerset, whose lives were turned upside down when Kate was diagnosed with an incurable breast cancer.

Mum's List

Over her last few months, she created her list: writing down her thoughts and memories to help the man she loved create the best life possible for him and their two sons, after she was gone.

I love a film that makes me think and feel, where I can really connect with the characters. I think Mum’s List will be a film that stays with you and makes you appreciate all that you have. I would like to hope I would be as strong as Kate but as a Mum one of my worst fears is something happening to me meaning I’m not there to see my children grow up  or be there when they need me.

Written and directed by Niall Johnson (‘White Noise’; ‘Keeping Mum’), ‘Mum’s List’ stars Rafe Spall(One Day, Prometheus, Life of Pi), Emilia Fox (Silent Witness, The Pianist, Merlin) and Elaine Cassidy. It is produced by Nick Hamson (‘Premonition’; ‘St George’s Day’) and Studio Soho Films together with executive producers Gareth Jones, Chris Wood, Niall Johnson and Sarah Weatherstone.

The book Mum’s List was published by Penguin Books in 2012 in the United Kingdom and entered the UK Amazon charts at No 1. Selling over 100,000 copies in just 2 months it quickly became a global success.

Don’t forget the film is out in UK cinemas 25th Novemeber 2016!
