Affordable Fashion – Where I Shop and Items Under £30

Fashion doesn’t need to be expensive! I very rarely spend over £30 for a single item unless it’s something like jeans, shoes or a coat, those items that get worn again and again. But, when I buy accessories and season pieces, I generally look for items under £20. Unless I really like it and then I might stretch up to £30, maybe even £40 or more for a special occasion. Affordable fashion means I can wear the styles I love and still be able to afford the necessities!

At the moment my favourite places to shop are Primark, New Look, H&M, Miss Selfridge, Mango and Zara. If you were to look through my wardrobe I think 80%, possibly even more, would come from these places.

Of course season to season I might have a favourite. This summer Miss Selfridge has had some lovely pieces and some fab sales and the same with New Look. I look out on Instagram for Primark items then head to a big store and search them out. Sometimes after a rummage you can find some real gems in there.

I had a comment the other day on my post about the quality of Primark clothes and them not lasting for long. I’ve never really had a problem with this. Maybe because I buy seasonal clothes from there, so they aren’t items that I will wear all year.

I’m always on the hunt for new places to shop for affordable fashion and SHEIN kept popping up as an advert on my Facebook. I asked on my Instagram stories for people’s experiences and received such a mixed response that I decided to try them out for myself. All the items in the video below are under £15, check it out and see how I got on.

And here are my favourite items this week, from the High Street, for under £30! Each Wednesday I do a round up of my current favourite affordable pieces on my Instagram stories.
