Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience Review and Giveaway

Have you ever had to completely abandon a cinema trip with a toddler? We did when we attempted to take Ava in the summer. James walked down the corridor from the door with her and immediately the dark and loud made her completely freak out before they had even reached the seats! She didn’t want to go back in after calming down outside so we didn’t get to watch the film. This was a few months ago now, but we haven’t dared to attempt it with her again yet. So when we were asked if we would like to take part in a Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience home cinema party, we thought it would be a great idea. It was perfectly timed as Ava had been ill with a sickness bug so was getting a bit bored at home.Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience

Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience

The new DVD is an hour of Peppa-filled fun including nine brand-new episodes and exclusive interactive content (singalongs, dancing and games). Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience showcases a tour of London in a double decker bus with the Queen, a four part holiday special with a trip to Australia, a visit to the zoo, sailing on a canal boat and they even meet the police!

The party bundle came with loads of Peppa themed goodies so we decided to decorate the room and then let her in. She absolutely loved walking into a Peppa room as she called it.

The blanket and cushion were a big hit and she made herself comfy on the sofa whilst holding the inflatable Peppa’s hand, too cute!

Even the boys joined in so they could eat the snacks and Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle biscuits. Who wouldn’t like a biscuit you can dunk in chocolate?!

The DVD kept Ava’s attention and I liked the mix of episodes and singing. It was nice to see her get up and try to join in with some.

Ava has asked to watch the DVD in the last few days, rushing through to get her blanket and cushion from her bedroom to watch it with. Maybe when we next try the cinema we will take them with us.

You can pick up your very own Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience on DVD for just £8. I think it would make a fab stocking filler. It’s available as a digital download too!
