Hi I’m Eilidh……..
If you are wondering how you say it, it’s like Hayley without the ‘H’ or Aylee. It’s Gaelic and I love having such a unique name, although my teenage self, not so much!
I live just outside Bedford, in a leafy village with my fiancée James, my two boys who are 13 and 10 and our little girl who is 6.
Im an author, writer and personal stylist who loves living a green and simple lifestyle.
I started this blog in 2014 as a way to record family memories and over the years it has evolved into a blog that covers my passions; sustainable living, the outdoors, travel and ethical fashion, but it will always have being a mother at its heart.
My debut non-fiction book – Green Christmas – was published in October 2020 by Bloomsbury. Little changes that bring joy and help the planet. You can read more about the book here…
I am also a freelance writer having written pieces for other online blogs and features for magazines.
I was honoured to be shortlisted for the Sustainable Influencer of the year 2021 P.E.A awards. My blog was also named as a Top 10 Green UK Blog Vuelio 2020. Along with other green and sustainable top UK blog mentions.
I am a featured member of Ethical Bloggers. My blog has also been named Netmums Blog Of The Week and Blog Of The Day on a few occasions and Top Lifestyle Blog – Hibs.
I made the decision to give up fast fashion for a year in 2018. Then went on to qualify as a personal stylist and colour expert in 2020 so that I can help others to create a more sustainable wardrobe full of items they love. You can find my personal styling here.
I created a 6-week e-course – Make The Change – helping others think about how to tackle the never-ending plastic in our lives. Packed full of suggestions and tips on how to live more sustainably and make those little swaps that all add up to a big difference. You can sign up for my course here.

I am also a sustainable living columnist and can be found writing about swaps and easier ways to be more green at EastLife Magazine.
Through the blog, I have had the chance to work with some amazing travel companies such as Al Fresco Holidays, Eurocamp, Martinhal, Darwin Forest and YHA and local tourist boards. I have worked with Hyundai on their electric cars, Prestige eco pans, iZettle, Keen footwear, Frugi, Go Outdoors and many more. I have also featured on some of their blogs & websites.
As a UK green, lifestyle and travel blogger, I love to work collaboratively and creatively: showcasing and storytelling our travels, and promoting some of our favourite brands, both little and large.
